Access Bank Zambia Limited Walks With Us!

Today we celebrate and appreciate Access bank for joining our #Shoes_for_Smiles_Walk_this_way_Campaign.

This is not just a sponsorship ceremony; it is a moment of hope, dignity, and transformation for thousands of children across Zambia. We sincerely thank Access Bank Zambia for believing in this vision and for taking a leading role in supporting vulnerable children through this initiative.

Your support goes beyond corporate sponsorship, it is an investment in the future of Zambia’s children and a statement that every child matters and deserves the opportunity to walk to school with dignity, confidence, and hope.

Through this partnership, we are targeting close to 150 schools across Zambia, most of them being government schools located in vulnerable and underserved communities. Many children in these schools walk long distances barefoot to access education, some miss school due to injuries, infections, and lack of basic necessities. Today, because of partners like Access bank we are changing that story.

We also wish to commend the Government of the Republic of Zambia, under the leadership of His Excellency President Mr. Hakainde Hichilema for the law on free education. This law has opened doors for thousands of children to return to school and pursue their dreams. However, we recognize that education goes beyond classroom access alone, that is why the Shoes for Smiles – Walk This Way Campaign aligns strongly with the Government’s vision.

This campaign aims to reach over 10,000 children across Zambia through our partnership with World Vision Zambia. We are deeply grateful to World Vision for their collaboration, community reach, and commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable children. Their support will help ensure that the shoes reach children who need them the most across various programme areas and schools.

To our other collaborating partners, Zambeef Products Plc, Zamshu, Radio Christian Voice, and Zanaco, we are grateful for your continued support. Together we will do more to make sure that this vision is impactful and life changing for children in various communities across the Country.
